A truck has rolled on SH30 near Lake Rotoma this afternoon.

Police were called about 4.45pm to SH30, Lake Rotoma, following a report of a truck having rolled.

'At this stage the report suggests there are no serious injuries,” says a Police spokesperson.

NZTA advise that due to the truck crash the road is closed at Lake Rotoma. A detour is in place.

"Please follow the detour and allow at least an extra 60 minutes travel time," says an NZTA spokesperson.

For the detour: Eastbound continue onto SH33, turn right onto SH2, turn right onto SH34, turn right onto SH30. Westbound same as Eastbound but in reverse.
