Motorists travelling through the Bay of Plenty via State Highway 33 are being warned to expect delays.
Resealing works are expected to take place on SH33, between SH30 and Allport Road, from today until March 27.
"Stop/go traffic control will be in place, followed by loose chip and 50km/h speed restrictions for about two days afterwards to protect new seal and allow chip to properly embed," says the NZTA.
"Please drive with care and allow extra time for your journey."
