Two lucky Lotto players win $500,000

Two lucky Lotto players from Auckland and Hamilton will be starting the new year on a high after each winning $500,000 with Lotto First Division in Saturday night's live Lotto draw.
The winning tickets were sold at Bin Inn Hamilton East in Hamilton and on MyLotto to a player from Auckland.    
Powerball was not struck last night and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $5 million.
Strike Four was also won on Saturday by a player from Auckland who took home $200,000. The winning Strike ticket was sold on MyLotto.
Eleven Lotto players will be celebrating after each winning $22,009 with Lotto Second Division in Saturday night's live Lotto draw.
The winning Second Division tickets were sold at Kamo Lotto – Whangarei, MyLotto – Auckland, MyLotto – Franklin, MyLotto x 2 - Bay of Plenty, Ngongotaha Books Lotto & Posts – Rotorua, Feilding Video Centre – Feilding, MyLotto - Palmerston North, Pioneer New World - Palmerston North, Hataitai Four Square – Wellington, and MyLotto – Canterbury.
Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should write their name on the back and check their ticket at any Lotto NZ outlet, online at mylotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ App.
