Two people have been seriously injured following a motorcycle crash on State Highway 5.
Police responded to a motorcycle crash on SH5 at Ngatira about 11am, says a Police spokesperson.
"Two people sustained serious injuries and have been airlifted from the scene."
It is understood that there were two people on the motorcycle at the time of the crash.
Motorists are advised to expect delays if travelling that route.
"One lane is open," says a Police spokesperson.
