Police can now confirm the name of the person who died following Tuesday's crash on State highway 2 in the Bay of Plenty.
'He was Jayden Toia-Watkins, 20, of Opotiki,” says a Police spokesperson.
'Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time,” they say.
A motorcycle and truck were involved in the incident on State Highway 2 near Glenholme Road at about 9.35am on Tuesday 19.
Jayden passed away at the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the crash is continuing.
