Sin City Taupō Strippers and two bars have been named as part of a late-night location of interest tranche following confirmation of more cases in Taupō.

The Ministry wants anyone who visited the late-night establishment between 8pm on Novermber 11 and 3.30am on November 12 to self-isolate for 14 days.

The case also visited Pub and Grub Taupō and Dbar between 5.30pm and 11.59pm on November 11. Punters that were present are encouraged to immeditaly self-isolate too.

Dbar has also been named between 12am to 1am on November 12.

Gull Petrol Taupō has also been named on November 7 between 7pm and 8pm.

The Taupō case also visited Wairarapa on the weekend of November 6 and 7 with a close contact. The Ministry has named another four locations there.

On November 6, The Warehouse Masterton between 8am and 9.30am and Challenge Petrol Station Greytown between 1.55pm and 4.10pm have been named as locations.

While on November 7, Master Fried Chicken Lunch Bar in Kuripuni between 7.45am to 9.15am and McDonalds Masterton between 10.30am and 12.45am have been named too.

Anyone who attended then locations in Wairarapa is encouraged to stay at home, test immediately and test five days after exposure.

The owner of a Taupō strip club given as a seven-hour location of interest says the Covid case who visited isn't a worker.

Sin City Taupō co-owner Kim Thompson said she's worried for the safety of her workers and dancers after the close scare.

'I wish it wasn't my business. It's a horrible thing for anyone to go through,” she says.

Kim says most of her staff, including the dancers, are double vaccinated.

She says the bar isn't currently open and over the next few days Kim and her business partners would be conducting a deep clean and figuring out where to from here.

Three new Covid cases have been confirmed in Taupō by the Ministry of Health, bringing the total to four.

The ministry confirmed positive results for two household contacts of the Taupō case announced earlier on Saturday.

They also confirmed another positive result in Taupō, a close contact of the case.

Two other household contacts of the case have tested negative.

Taupō District Mayor David Trewavas was advised by the Ministry of Health late last night there was a positive case in the community.

'It's hit our town, it's become real and for those who aren't vaccinated, please, I urge you to act and protect yourself,” Trewavas told Stuff.

'We always knew it was going to happen, but we hoped and prayed it wouldn't.”

Dixie Browns restaurant in Taupō will close for two weeks after a customer tested positive. A Facebook post on Saturday night advised those who were dining between 6.15pm and 9.30pm on Friday night to get tested and to contact the ministry.

Other locations of interest named earlier on Saturday evening by the Ministry of Health are in Waikato, with two in Hamilton, and one each in Te Kuiti and Ōtorohanga.

BP Connect in Whitiora and Pak'n Save Whitiora were visited by a case on November 13 between 7.40am-8.15am and 8.03am-9.05am.

The Warehouse Te Kuiti has been named after a Covid case visited on November 6 between 4pm and 5.40pm.

The Ōtorohanga Minimart is also a location of interest after being visited by a case on November 7 between 1.30pm and 2.40pm.

All those who were at these locations during these times are encouraged to self-monitor for symptoms over 14 days and get tested if they develop.

A Countdown supermarket and a Unichem in Ōtorohanga, in the Waikato, were Saturday afternoon's locations to have been visited by a person with Covid-19.

The two locations joined a shopping centre, a Chemist Warehouse and a variety of clothing stores in Hamilton.

Shops including Glassons, Stirling Sports, Foot Locker, Chemist Warehouse, North Beach and Katsubi restaurant at Te Awa Mall, at The Base, were added to the Ministry of Health's locations of interest list on Saturday morning.
