Emergency services are responding to a two vehicle crash on State Highway 36/Pyes Pa Road on the Ngongataha side of the Mangorewa Kaharoa Gorge.
Police received a report of the two vehicle crash at 5.15pm.
Police say that the crash on SH36 is near the top of the gorge.
It is unknown at this stage if there are any injuries.
