One lucky Powerball player will be dancing in their living room after winning $5.3 million with Powerball First Division on Saturday night
The winning ticket was sold at Countdown Vogeltown to a player from New Plymouth. The prize is made up of $5 million from Powerball First Division and $333,333 from Lotto First Division.
The win comes just a week after a lucky Auckland MyLotto player scored himself $13 million with Powerball First Division on Saturday April 30. The man is looking forward to helping out his family, some charities close to his heart and buying himself a new car.
Two other lucky Lotto players will also be celebrating after winning $333,333 with Lotto First Division in Saturday's Lotto draw. The winning tickets were sold at Redwood Lotto in Blenheim and Countdown Metro in Auckland.
A lucky Strike player from Auckland will also be celebrating after winning $600,000 with Strike Four. The winning Strike ticket was sold at Countdown North West in Auckland.
Nineteen lucky Lotto players will be celebrating a midweek windfall after each winning $17,541 with Lotto Second Division in Saturday's Lotto draw.
Three lucky players also won Powerball Second Division, taking their total winnings to $25,149. The winning Powerball Second Division tickets were sold at Fresh Choice Ranui in Auckland, Pak n Save New Plymouth in New Plymouth, and Durham New World in Christchurch.
