Bay of Plenty Police are appealing for any information from anyone about a kayaker who has been reported overdue on Lake Rotorua.
Police are concerned for his wellbeing, says a post on the Bay of Plenty and Waikato Police Facebook page.
"Two Coastguard vessels are currently looking for the man, with the search focused around the Mokoia Island area.
"The man is in a black and yellow blow-up kayak and is wearing a dark green jacket. It's not known if the man was wearing a life jacket.
"We ask anyone with information to get in touch by calling 105, quoting the event number P052355407."
