Juicy Fest promoters Glenn Meikle and Matthew Spratt are excited about securing such a high calibre group of artists for Juicy Fest 2024 and say there may be a special guest announcement in the near future that will complement the already impressive line-up.

'We've been working really hard to secure a line-up to rival this year's inaugural festival and I think we have achieved that and then some,” says Meikle.

'We've locked in some of the biggest names in R&B and hip-hop from the 1990s and 2000s era and they're just excited about coming to New Zealand and Australia as we are to be hosting them,” says Spratt.

'This year we have added Christchurch and Wellington to the New Zealand leg of the Juicy Fest tour and Adelaide on the Australian leg to ensure Juicy Fest is more accessible for more people,” says Meikle.

The pair say while they were proud of what had been achieved for the first Juicy Fest, some tweaks had been made behind the scenes to better the Juicy Fest experience for all attendees in 2024.

Among the changes will be the earlier opening of festival gates to better cater to the flow of queues.

'We have taken in all the feedback from Juicy Fest 2023 and we are confident the next will be even better,” says Spratt.

Juicy Fest 2024 gets underway in New Zealand on January 3, providing a sense of nostalgia for everyone who loves the R&B and hip-hop sounds of the 90s and 2000s.

Tickets are expected to sell-out pretty quickly and will go on sale to the general public from Wednesday, April 26, 2023.
