One person has died following a crash in Murupara earlier today.
The crash involved a car and a motorcycle at the intersection of Rimu Road and Oregon Drive.
The crash was reported to Police at 11am.
"Emergency services attended but sadly the motorcyclist died at the scene," says a police spokesperson.
The road remains closed while the Serious Crash Unit conduct a scene examination.
"Motorists are asked to avoid the area."
